1. Introduction
Welcome to GigFC.com. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our platform, including any services provided through our website, mobile applications, and any associated tools or services. By accessing or using GigFC, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Eligibility
To use GigFC, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration
To access certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password. You agree to notify GigFC immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. GigFC is not liable for any losses or damages arising from your failure to protect your account information.

4. User Conduct
By using GigFC, you agree to:
– Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or listing services.
– Use the platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
– Not engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activities.
– Respect the intellectual property rights of others.

5. Services and Payments

5.1 Freelancers
Freelancers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding their skills, experience, and services. Freelancers agree to deliver services as described in their proposals and to the satisfaction of the employer.

5.2 Employers
Employers are responsible for providing clear and accurate project details. Employers agree to make payments through GigFC’s secure payment system and release funds to freelancers upon satisfactory completion of milestones or the project.

5.3 Payments
All payments for services must be made through GigFC’s secure payment system. GigFC may charge service fees to both freelancers and employers, as outlined in our fee schedule. Payments will be disbursed to freelancers once the employer confirms satisfactory completion of the work.

6. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a freelancer and an employer, GigFC offers a dispute resolution service. Both parties agree to participate in good faith in the resolution process. GigFC reserves the right to make a final decision on any disputes, which may include the release or refund of payments.

7. Intellectual Property
All content and materials provided on GigFC, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the intellectual property of GigFC or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from our platform without prior written permission from GigFC.

8. Confidentiality
Both freelancers and employers agree to keep all confidential information disclosed during the course of a project private and secure. Confidential information includes, but is not limited to, trade secrets, business strategies, and personal information. This obligation extends beyond the termination of the project.

9. Termination
GigFC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice. You may also terminate your account at any time by following the instructions on our platform. Upon termination, all outstanding payments and obligations must be settled.

10. Limitation of Liability
GigFC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of GigFC is limited to the amount of fees you have paid to us in the past six months.

11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GigFC, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity.

12. Changes to Terms
GigFC may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on our platform. Your continued use of the platform after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically for updates.

13. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of GigFC are governed by the laws of the federal republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of federal republic of Nigeria.
